The airport authority has planned to halt the international flights until 10 am on Friday for a more clear inspection and maintenance of the runway, reported Avenues TV. Further decision will be made after the preliminary work. All morning flights including Turkish Airlines’ TK726, the first international flight of the day, has been diverted to either Delhi or Lucknow in India. Wide body jets like Airbus A330 have been diverted to Delhi and medium jets like Airbus A320 and Boeing 737’s have been transferred to Lucknow.
